Returning for its second edition this June, Sugar Sugar! transforms Domino Square’s waterfront amphitheater along the East River into a festive, open-air stage for new performances, from sexy and brazen to joyful and absurd. Over four weeks, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at sunset, artists working across dance, puppetry, theater, performance art, and music will premiere performances conceived specifically for the park. Each week’s performances extend the legacy of North Brooklyn’s vibrant creative community, foregrounding artists who continue to shape the neighborhood’s avant-garde performance culture.
