Have extra food scraps? We'll take 'em! Bring them to the Park and we'll turn them into nutrient rich compost, which is used throughout Domino Park to keep plant life healthy. When possible, we also donate compost to local organizations to help care for trees in the Williamsburg neighborhood.

The Domino Park Greenmarket, organized by GrowNYC, is a Sunday staple, featuring local farmers and producers offering a variety of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, fresh cut flowers, plants, and more. Plus, drop off your food scraps for compost at the Domino Park booth

A weekly 5-mile run through Domino Park and surrounding neighborhoods, led by multiple pace groups and the rhythm of curated music. With a large speaker setting the tone, the run creates an uplifting atmosphere—and more importantly, a space where people return each week to move, connect, and grow together.

Join naturalist and nature writer Russell Jacobs on a nature walk in Domino Park to learn about the natural history of the Brooklyn waterfront, the ongoing environmental restoration work in the park, and how to identify NYC's migrating birds.

Join us in the hospitality tent before or after you skate to create Winter Wishing Lanterns, colorful layered paper lanterns made with tissue and mixed materials. Each participant will have cut-out sheets available to write or draw as many Winter Wishes as they’d like, placing them inside their lantern or in a clear ornament to take home and hang for the season.
